Keeping Commitments
Pranam to my Guru Krsna
During a flight from Ahmedabad to Bangalore, I was
reading the words of my Guru which are captured in the book ‘The Flute Of Truth’.
In chapter 3 note 25 is about ‘Keeping Commitments’. I read the following line,
‘Light that spark within you and soar away to spectacular heights.’
This line brought to mind the teachings of my Guru, he
used to keep on stressing on keeping commitments, most of the time
procrastination is what keeps one away from keeping them. And then the
following words just flowed out and Laki humbly keeps them at His Feet. Arjuna
in this is us and the words are from the inner voice.
‘O Arjuna, O Arjuna
Arise from the slumber
Of sleep, O Arjuna’
‘O Arjuna, O Arjuna
Come out of the stupor
Of laziness, O Arjuna’
‘O Arjuna, O Arjuna
The demons lie
Asleep in you, O Arjuna’
‘O Arjuna, O Arjuna
Light that spark within
Thy body, O Arjuna’
‘O Arjuna, O Arjuna
Lay all at your master’s
Feet and soar away to
Spectacular performances
O Arjuna, O Arjuna!’
